The basic characteristics:

Working pressure (nominal) in a mode of operation for food water, air and other environments of operation, not less: 60 mpa. Working pressure (nominal) in a mode of operation for food and technical oils, fat products, spirit less: 10.0 mpa Rigidity on Shor: 65+/-3. Density: 1.2 g/cm 3 . Nominal temperature of operation: -45... +300. Durability at a stretching on break, not less: 6.0 P. The plate is made by thickness from 1 up to 10 mm in rolls on 20 kg, width 1500 mm. The plate from 12 up to 20 mm is made in sheets, the size 1200 1200 mm.

The description, application and indications to application:

Flexible and elastic silicone rubber has unique chemical structure which gives to it high temperature stability and chemical inertness than any another elastomer and as result - it can operate in conditions where can not be used other material.

This rubber plate considerably surpasses others elastomers in stability under influence of high temperatures, surpasses them on service life, possesses smaller residual deformation and antiadhesion properties, has no smell, taste and is not toxic, possesses by excellent stability to atmospheric influences, on it solar radiation, ozone, a moisture and dryness.

Silicone rubber is monolithic in a roll, has smooth, free of defects surface. It is made in tens variants of hardness beginning from relatively soft 30 shA up to rather hard 70 shA.

Silicone rubber is monolithic can have a different chemical compound for giving the certain physical properties and from reasons of cost. Silicone rubber also possesses good chemical resistance. However it can inflate at contact to some solvents, but after evaporation of solvent, silicone usually comes back to the initial sizes. At the specified temperatures silicone rubber pollute much less gas, than others similar elastomers. It burns on an open flame with pollution of a nontoxical smoke without a smell and with formation of a white, not conducting electricity, ashes.

Silicone rubber in itself is universal, despite of it, there are various marks for work in special conditions. Silicone rubber prepared on phenyl basis works up to - 90, and created on the special formula up to - 112. The working temperature of the given rubber from - 45 up to + 300 essentially does not influence physical properties of silicone. In the operating conditions including high temperature and pressure general purpose silicone rubber is required. Residual deformation depends on working temperature and pressure, and general purpose silicone rubber is the most proof to the given phenomenon. When there is a contact to fuel or solvent, the best choice is fluorinated silicone rubber.

This polymer possesses the best resistance to swelling and destruction from influence of the given substances. High-strength silicone - materials with explosive durability from 6.0 P and above are the best choice there where high elasticity, flexibility and explosive durability are required.
